Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, you will be responsible for maximizing sales opportunities with a portfolio of new and existing customers within an assigned market and territory. Your primary focus will be on selling motive power (industrial) solutions—products and services—to achieve sales targets.<br><br><strong> <br><br></strong><strong>You Are<br><br></strong><ul><li>Experienced and Enthusiastic: You bring a wealth of experience and enthusiasm, driving sales and building strong customer relationships.</li><li>Driven and Dedicated: Committed to high standards of performance and delivering business results.</li><li>Results-Oriented: Motivated to drive revenue for the company, team, and yourself through our compensation program.</li><li>Customer-Centric: Prioritize exceptional customer experiences, consistently demonstrating and promoting East Penn Canada's values.</li><li>Solution-Focused: Identify customer requirements and issues, offering effective solutions from the East Penn/Deka product line.</li><li>Collaborative Team Player: Share knowledge freely and contribute to the overall effectiveness of the sales team, leading by example.</li><li>Goal-Oriented: Set priorities based on annual targets and objectives, actively pursuing new business opportunities and maintaining an up-to-date pipeline.<br><br></li></ul><strong>What You’ll Be Doing<br><br></strong><ul><li>Build and maintain strong relationships with local site management, perform direct and indirect sales techniques, and service key and national accounts.</li><li>Share sales and advertising programs with dealers and clients and support the delivery setup for new products.</li><li>Work closely with service department to review preventative maintenance reports to identify sales opportunities, engage with customers, and highlight potential enhancements.</li><li>Establish territory goals, create customer target lists, and actively pursue new business relationships.</li><li>Lead by example, project a professional image, and share knowledge with team members.</li><li>Identify customer requirements, provide effective solutions, and set priorities based on annual targets and objectives.</li><li>Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.</li><li>Prepare and present regular sales reports and forecasts to senior management.<br><br></li></ul><strong>What You Bring<br><br></strong>You will receive full product training, but a strong foundation and background in the following will set you up for success:<br><br><ul><li>Post-secondary education (college diploma or bachelor’s degree) in a related field, complemented by relevant sales experience.</li><li>2-5 years of robust solution- based sales experience is preferred.</li><li>A solid team player and self-starter who can troubleshoot, resolve issues, and achieve results.</li><li>Experience in industrial sales sectors and knowledge of industrial products and or material handling or equipment is an asset.</li><li>Demonstrated expertise in managing Key Accounts effectively.</li><li>Excellent verbal and written communication abilities and exceptional presentation skills aiming for win-win solutions.</li><li>Proficiency in Word, Excel and various CRM applications.</li><li>Ability to travel within a specified geographic region on a daily basis.</li><li>Ability to travel overnight on occasional.</li><li>Valid G driver’s license with a clean driving abstract<br><br></li></ul><strong>Other Considerations<br><br></strong><ul><li>References, criminal background and driver’s abstract will be requested.<br><br></li></ul>East Penn Canada is an equal opportunity employer and welcomes all qualified applicants to apply; all reasonable accommodations will be made for people with disabilities.<br><br><strong>Salary Range:</strong> $80,000.00 - $90,000.00 CDN plus commission. Salary to be determined by the applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
