Frame Stylist/Receptionist

Are you a fashion-forward professional looking for an exciting career in Optics? Vision Clinic, the largest retail optical in the Niagara Region with locations in Niagara & Hamilton is actively seeking new members to join their team as a Receptionist/Frame Stylist to assist with reception and sales. You will learn about optics and be immersed in the world of high designer styles and fashion.

Duties:

• Ability to work as a team player with limited supervision
• Must excel in customer service
• Must be highly motivated with strong organizational skills with the ability to problem solve and multi-task
• Greet customers professionally and in a timely manner
• Assist customers with choosing frames/fashionable eye wear
• Optical sales/will train
• Processing payments, insurance payments and OHIP
• Doctor receptionist duties (booking appointments, patient check in, reminder calls)
• Perform pre-test for customers, prior to eye exam
• Perform all other duties as required

Requirements:

• Strong computer knowledge and skills
• Time management skills
• Excellent communication skills; pleasant telephone manner
• Fashion-forward, professional attire required
• Retail sales experience preferred
• Must be available to work Saturdays
• Must have own reliable transportation

Job Type: Full-Time up to 35 hours per week

Shift: Day shift, evening shifts, Saturdays a must

Work Location: This position will be at 94 Highway #8, Stoney Creek. May be required to fill in at other locations at times.
