Head of eCommerce - Marketplace Manager

Job Description:

  • Own and Execute the Growth Strategy for Each Marketplace
  • Develop and implement tailored growth plans for Amazon and TikTok Shop—leveraging data, trends, and category insights to drive sales, visibility, and profitability.
  • Deeply Understand Platform Algorithms, Buyer Behavior & Sales Mechanics
  • Stay ahead of changes in marketplace algorithms, ad platforms, SEO, ranking systems, and consumer trends to outmaneuver competitors and increase organic and paid performance.
  • Lead Cross-Functional Growth Initiatives
  • Partner with creative, supply chain, operations, and performance marketing teams to align content, inventory, fulfillment, and advertising toward aggressive revenue goals.
  • Optimize Product Lifecycle from Launch to Scaling
  • Oversee new product launch strategy, listing optimization, review acquisition, pricing, bundling, and re-ranking campaigns to maximize success throughout a product’s life.
  • Continuously Analyze Data to Identify Growth Levers
  • Monitor performance dashboards, uncover actionable insights, and execute rapid test-and-learn cycles to increase traffic, improve conversion, and reduce inefficiencies.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience scaling marketplace revenue across Amazon and/or TikTok Shops.
  • Familiarity with keyword research, listing optimization, and ad management.
  • Strong understanding of P&L drivers and marketplace algorithms.
  • Excellent organization and communication skills.
  • Experience with aggregators, brand rollups, or fast-scaling eCom brands.
  • Working knowledge of tools like Helium10, Jungle Scout, or Perpetua.
  • 3+ years managing marketplace channels for consumer brands.
  • Degree not required—execution results matter most.
