Front End Developer - Web Application

Our client is a rapidly expanding startup that is transforming the landscape of cybersecurity and cyber insurance by emphasizing simplicity and reliable cyber risk data. Their platform unites top-tier insurers, brokers, and cybersecurity providers to offer thorough cyber risk management solutions tailored for small and mid-sized enterprises. Based in Bermuda, the company is expanding its workforce and is in search of a Senior Front End Web Application Developer.

Your experience you bring will include:

• Depth of knowledge and experience in modern JavaScript, TypeScript, React, NextJS, Prisma ORM, Postgres SQL, NodeJS, git source control, standard web technologies (HTML, CSS, REST, etc...), scripting.

• Nice to haves: AI/Machine Learning/Deep Learning skills and experience, tech start-up experience or formerly top tech such as Google/Amazon, Azure experience, systems design experience, software testing and test engineering, UI/UX, web design, creative and aesthetic sense, fun and pleasant to work with, engages in healthy discussion and shares opinions on engineering and design.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Works independently to complete tasks at a senior level. Doesn't get stuck easily, doesn't give up without a thorough investigation, good at reporting and keeping team up to date with progress, has strong attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.

• Has passion for learning, keeping skills current, and teamwork.

• Communication, technical literacy, and fluency top notch.

• Strong computer science and software engineering fundamentals that will be tested in interview.
