My work combines big-firm experience with a personal, accessible approach to helping clients navigate major life and business transitions. </p><p><br></p><p>I’m currently looking for a family law paralegal to join my growing remote-first practice — someone who values professionalism, empathy, and attention to detail as much as I do.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Role Description</strong></p><p>This is a contract <strong>REMOTE</strong> role for a Family Law Paralegal, for a sole practitioner located in Campbell River, BC. The Family Law Paralegal will assist in managing legal documents and client files, drafting family law agreements, correspondence, and court forms. </p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities will also include conducting legal research, liaising with clients, and supporting lawyers during hearings and mediations. The role requires efficient organization and time management to ensure smooth case progression.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li>Expertise in drafting legal documents, agreements, and court forms for family law cases</li><li>Knowledge of legal research methodologies and preparing legal correspondence</li><li>Strong organizational and file management skills</li><li>Proficient communication skills for client interaction and coordination with lawyers</li><li>Experience with practice management software and general computer literacy</li><li>Ability to work under deadlines with attention to detail</li><li>Certification or diploma in Paralegal Studies or equivalent experience is required</li><li>Understanding of family law procedures and practices in British Columbia</li></ul>
