<strong>Transdev is now hiring a Dispatcher & Office Administrator for our Yellowknife, NWT location!<br><br></strong>As the Dispatcher & Customer Service Coordinator, you will play a key role in keeping our operations running smoothly and ensuring exceptional service delivery. You will be the primary point of contact for customers, drivers, and partners, balancing real-time coordination, administrative accuracy, and responsive communication.<br><br><strong>Your Role<br><br></strong><ul><li>Answer incoming calls and provide clear, accurate information to customers regarding schedules, routes, and services.</li><li>Dispatch YATS drivers and vehicles efficiently to meet service demands while maintaining on-time performance.</li><li>Monitor real-time vehicle locations and communicate with drivers to address operational changes or challenges.</li><li>Coordinate with schools, school boards, and clients to ensure seamless service delivery and timely updates.</li><li>Support day-to-day administrative activities, maintaining accurate records of communications, trips, and dispatch operations.</li><li>Provide coaching and guidance to drivers to promote service excellence and adherence to safety and company standards.</li><li>Prepare operational and performance reports to support management and continuous improvement initiatives.</li><li>Collaborate with team members to enhance dispatch systems, optimize routing, and improve overall service efficiency.</li><li>Follow all Transdev standards, policies, and procedures, while upholding a culture of safety, professionalism, and respect.</li><li>Perform other related duties as assigned to support the operation.<br><br></li></ul><strong>The Perks<br><br></strong><ul><li>A competitive annual salary of $55,000.</li><li>Comprehensive benefits package including medical services, dental, extended health, life insurance, long-term dissability, and pension plan options.</li><li>Make a meaningful impact by contributing to sustainable and community-focused transit solutions.</li><li>Be part of a company that values diversity, employee development, and continuous improvement.</li><li>Join a Group committed to encouraging diversity and employee development.<br><br></li></ul><strong>Your Profile<br><br></strong><ul><li>Minimum 2–3 years of experience in administrative support or dispatch operations, ideally within transportation, logistics, or customer service environments.</li><li>Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.</li><li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, demonstrating professionalism, courtesy, and a customer-focused approach.</li><li>Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) with the ability to quickly learn new software and dispatch systems.</li><li>High level of accuracy and attention to detail in documentation, data entry, and record keeping.</li><li>Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a dynamic team.</li><li>Solid problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to remain composed under pressure.</li><li>Familiarity with Yellowknife’s geography and local transportation routes is considered an asset.</li><li>Demonstrated commitment to delivering quality customer service while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions.<br><br></li></ul><strong>Your location:<br><br></strong><ul><li>This is a full-time, non-union, on-site position based in Yellowknife, Northwest Territories.</li><li>The schedule consists of 8-hour daytime shifts, Monday to Friday, typically from 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.<br><br></li></ul><strong>Join an International Group strongly rooted in the communities. <br><br></strong>Transdev is an international leader in mobility at the service of communities.
