Aecon Energy Solutions Inc. employs highly skilled technicians to install advanced meter infrastructure. Whether in a residential, commercial, institutional or hospitality environment, AESI is able to assist customers with their telecom installation needs. Reporting to the Deployment Manager, the Dispatcher resource associate will be responsible for performing a variety of administrative tasks for workforce planning. This position involves working independently and as part of a team, exercising judgment, initiative and multi-tasking skills. What You'll Do Here: <ul> <li>Afternoon (16-22:00), weekend (08:00-22:00) and statutory holidays (08:00-22:00) dispatch coordination,</li> <li>Coordinate, update and maintain technician schedules.</li> <li>Participate in technician induction procedures.</li> <li>Provide clerical and administrative support with speed and accuracy.</li> <li>Learn, interpret and apply organizational policies, rules and regulations.</li> <li>Maintain and organize document files.</li> <li>Assist other staff with office tasks as required.</li> <li>Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by supervisor or manager.</li> <li>Work from home</li> </ul> What You Bring to the Team: <ul> <li>Fluency in French and English (spoken and written).</li> <li>Excellent computer skills, experience with Microsoft Office.</li> <li>Ability to solve problems and work independently.</li> <li>Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.</li> <li>Experience in administration and dispatch is an asset.</li> <li>Good telephone etiquette and dispatch experience are assets.</li> </ul> This is an hourly position $20.00-$24.00/hour Aecon fosters diversity, inclusion and belonging within and across our organization.
