This is an on-site, part-time role located in Waterloo, ON, for an Assistant Director, Centre for Mental Health Research and Treatment at the University of Waterloo.
The Assistant Director will oversee the day-to-day operations of the centre, ensuring the delivery of high-quality mental health research and services.
Responsibilities include staff supervision, program management, research support, and collaboration with university stakeholders. The role also involves contributing to community engagement initiatives and maintaining the centre's compliance with policies and regulations.Qualifications
Demonstrated leadership and team management skills, including staff supervision and mentoring.
Experience in program management, administrative tasks, and policy compliance.
Strong research and analytical abilities, preferably in the mental health or healthcare domain.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
Advanced understanding of mental health treatment principles and evidence-based practices.
Master's or Ph.
D. in Clinical Psychology, Social Work, or a related field (or equivalent experience) is preferred.
Experience working in an academic or clinical setting is an asset.
