This role sustains the internal operations that offering of our programs, while supporting systems in the Associate Dean Academic (ADA) Office that enable new initiatives and maintain continuity across programs.<br><br><strong>Duties And Responsibilities<br><br></strong><ul><li>Coordinate a range of administrative tasks including invigilation support, deferred and special exam offerings, and other academic logistics across the college.</li><li>Facilitate standard course administration processes and provide responsive support to faculty and staff navigating curriculum changes and course outlines.</li><li>Provide administrative support for program committees for the BSc and BOH degrees as well as ADA supported committees and administer agendas, take minutes, maintain committee websites, process and support paperwork and forms, and communicate follow-up and action items etc. as required.</li><li>Develop, maintain, and interpret dashboards to support program administration (e.g. recruitment and admissions analyses, course caps, etc.)</li><li>Provide guidance on program information, respond to student inquiries, and assist with student success initiatives </li><li>Provide logistical and administrative support for ADA office projects and events including arranging rooms, booking hospitality, coordinating logistics with guests, ensuring accurate and timely communication, arranging parking, etc. <br><br></li></ul><strong>Requirements<br><br></strong><ul><li>Two-year Community College Diploma in Business Administration, Data Analytics, Educational Administration or a related field</li><li>One to two years of experience in administration or analytics or a related field</li><li>Strong skills in data analytics and reporting</li><li>Strong computer skills (Excel, Power BI, or equivalent)</li><li>Communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills</li><li>Ability to conduct detailed data analyses, summarize findings, make recommendations, and then implement as approved</li><li>Organization and time management</li><li>Experience in academic administration and committee support</li><li>Experience with Courselink or other learning management systems would be considered an asset<br><br></li></ul>Regular office hours, but some evening or weekend hours may be required occasionally for events.<br><br>Employee Type: Regular<br><br>Position Number: 10924323<br><br>Classification: USW, Local 4120 Salary: Band 4<br><br>USW Local 4120 Wage Grid<br><br><ul><li>Tentative evaluation; subject to final review.<br><br></li></ul>At the University of Guelph, fostering a culture of inclusion is an institutional imperative.
